Cadence Support
The fastest way to get help is email: support@seud.io. Include your iOS version and, if it's relevant, which AI provider and model you have configured. We aim to reply within two business days.
Common questions
Where is my training data?
Everything Cadence writes — programs, workouts, benchmarks, your profile — lives as plain Markdown files in iCloud Drive → Cadence (or in the app's on-device documents folder when iCloud isn't available). You can open, edit, and back up those files with any text editor or the Files app. Deleting the app does not delete files stored in your iCloud Drive.
Why do AI features ask for an API key?
Cadence has no server and no subscription. Program generation and coach feedback call Anthropic or OpenAI directly from your device using your own API key, so you pay the provider only for what you use. Create a key at console.anthropic.com or platform.openai.com, then enter it in Settings → API. Every non-AI feature — logging, calendar, benchmarks, Health sync — works without a key.
How does Apple Health sync work?
Health sync is optional and off until you enable it. When on, Cadence can import runs and rides recorded by other apps or devices and export your completed workouts to Apple Health. You can review or revoke access any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health. Imported activities can be detached again from the workout's detail screen.
Moving to a new phone
If your data is in iCloud Drive, sign in with the same Apple ID on the new device, install Cadence, and your programs appear after iCloud syncs. Your API key is stored only on-device, so you'll re-enter it once in Settings.
Tips (in-app purchases)
Tips are voluntary one-time purchases that support development. They unlock nothing and never recur. If a tip was charged in error, request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Report a bug
Email support@seud.io with what you
expected, what happened, and roughly when. Because your data is in your
iCloud Drive, attaching the relevant day's .md file (it's
plain text) often makes a fix immediate.
